Today, January 5, 2017, President Barack Obama designated Ernest DuBester as Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) Chairman, following the expiration of former Chairman Carol Waller Pope’s term on January 3, 2017. Chairman DuBester has served as a Member of the Authority – the FLRA’s three-Member decisional component – since August 2009, and he previously served as FLRA Chairman from January 15 to November 12 of 2013.
