GUIDE TO THE FEDERAL SERVICE LABOR-MANAGEMENT RELATIONS PROGRAM

October 18, 2000

The Federal Labor Relations Authority is publishing a new edition of its publication, Guide to the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Program. The Guide, which is a major revision of the previous edition, is designed to assist readers, in a nontechnical way, in understanding the rights and obligations of Federal agencies, employees, and labor organizations under the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Statute (Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978).

This publication may be obtained by Federal agencies on a pro-rated cost basis with the Authority by "riding" the FLRA Requisition Number listed below. This publication will be printed on white/offset 50 lb stock with a 3 color process litho coated cover. In order to avoid duplicate orders, agency district and regional offices should request their agency's national headquarters in Washington, D.C. to consolidate their order.

Agency rider requisitions (Standard Form 1) should be submitted to the Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C. 20401, no later than November 30, 2000.

Agencies are urged to submit requisitions to the Government Printing Office because the Superintendent of Documents will not stock large quantities of the publication and the Authority will not be able to meet quantity requests.

Other organizations and individuals may order the publication directly from the Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C., 20402, when they become available. Further information concerning orders will be provided by the Authority in an information announcement at that time.
